Andre Putman takes her original 1984 design which invented the "boutique
hotel" concept and modernized it with a distinct, 21st Century Feeling"
Andree commissioned cutting edgelighting design team "TRAFIK" to create an
installation for the Lobby ceiling."
All rooms have been updated and feel light, bright and airy. Soft tones of
mocha, dove grey and butter cream effortlessly play with silver-leaf
dressing cabinets and hints of polished chrome.
Morgans is a "home away from home", quiet retreat from the city. It feels

Location.
Looks like a former retirement home converted into a boutique hotel.
Was booked 100%, couldn't check me in before 3 pm. Doesn't qualify as a 4 star hotel, very run-down and old, too small and doesn't have the amenities of a typical 4 star hotel.

Very small room.
The hotel is in a great location around the corner from the Empire State Building and a short walk to Times Square,Penn Station, and 5th Ave shopping. Absolutely fabulous service from all employees we came in contact with.
No late night bar in hotel to have a nightcap.
